CHALLENGE
The Kappa Delta Chi Foundation is challenging all of our sisters and supporters to help us meet the following goals:
• Have at least 100 one-time contributions made to the Foundation of at least $19.87.
• Establish reoccurring contributions from 10 Kappa Delta Chi Sisters. Reoccurring contributions are given automatically on a monthly, quarterly, or semi-annual basis.
• Increase the funds raised through the annual Kappa Delta Chi Bowl-a-Thon by 10%.
• Increase our Endowment to $25,000.

CAMPAIGN GOAL
By the end of the campaign, the Foundation hopes it will have raised at least $20,000 to establish a permanent endowment fund.
This fundraising campaign will run through Kappa Delta Chi’s 20th Anniversary in April 2007.

CHALLENGE TO OUR ALUMNAE
You can join in and help us reach our goal by donating $200 before the end of April 2007. If just 100 alumnae participate by donating $200 by April 2007, the endowment will reach its goal. Are you ready to contribute now? Download Donation Form

HOW CAN I HELP?
By showing your support and becoming a donor for the Foundation. We encourage you to learn more about how you can contribute now.

YOUR DONATION WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
The Foundation provides an opportunity for us to contribute to the quality of life and to assure other women will have educational experiences that produce successful leaders for the future. Contributions can be designated for the endowment fund or for a special program and may be given in memory or honor of a friend or loved one. As this endowment grows, it will eventually provide a secure source of educational scholarships from interest earned on investment capital. Your willingness to financially help fund the Foundation will contribute to achieving the following benefits:
• Enhance programs sponsored by the American Cancer Society, which emphasize outreach to the Hispanic & minority populations.
• Promote service projects, educational programs, leadership development activities and events encouraging educational/community understanding and mutual support.

INITIAL FUNDING PRIORITIES
The Board of Directors has identified the following funding priorities for the 2005 operating year:
• Provide at least four scholarships for deserving high school seniors,
• Provide at least four scholarships for members of Kappa Delta Chi through the Irene Montoya Scholarship.
• Provide funding for educational & leadership programs supported by Kappa Delta Chi.
• Promote cancer awareness and outreach programs for the minority and Hispanic Communities,
• Recognize and reward volunteer excellence, &
• Increase visibility and ease for donations through the Foundation website.

As we continue to build the Foundation the involvement of our sisters is critical. It is you, above all others, who will determine the success or failure of the Kappa Delta Chi Foundation.

We need to hear from ALL of you! The Kappa Delta Chi Foundation will not succeed without the help of the sisters of Kappa Delta Chi.

If you have ideas, comments, or questions for the Kappa Delta Chi Foundation Board, please send them to executivedirector@kdxfoundation.org
